Ethnic costumes are not racism level indicatorsI feel that the school has made a terrible mistake by forcing students to turn up in ethnic costumes. To make matters worse, those who failed to do so were punished by having to stand outside the school office for 1 and a half hours.
By strictly enforcing a practice that was meant to be a bit of fun for students, they are taking it way too seriously. I mean, even if I wore an ethnic costume, it doesn't mean that I am not a racist. It all lies within one's heart & how they feel about other races.
All-in-all, I feel that the school has no logic at all. Ethnic costumes are not racism level indicators. I feel that the school should apologize for making such a big mistake.
